Gobetti Penthouse, Soho, NYC(with R. Brambilla)Working within a loft space of 22’x100’ with windows on either ends, the problem of darkness in the middle of the loft presented the opportunity to create a variety of natural and artificial light sources. A new glass penthouse brings natural light into the center of the space while a unique DMX controlled fiber optics system provides colored light in the open kitchen. Other features include, built in furniture, a cantilevered staircase, a roof garden and a wave pool. |
