is warm, Whitney Museum, NYC, May 13 1999(with The Poool)This collaboration with The Poool (Benton Bainbridge, Angie Eng, Nancy Meli Walker) and musicians J. K. Hwang, H. Kamiyama, and D. Weinstein was a performance for “Impulsive Behavior, Performance on 42nd” for the Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris. The set design created a stage where cinema and theater could simulta- neously take place. The audience could move in and out of the stage, or sit and watch the screens from either side. After defining the performance's subject matter (the body) the stage set, video, and music were developed in unison. |
