Parascape, The Kitchen, NYC, March 12 1998(with The Poool)This collaboration with The Poool (Benton Bainbridge, Angie Eng, Nancy Meli Walker) and musicians Hoppy Kamiyama and Brian Moran produced a hour-long performance at the Kitchen. The project aimed to create a performance where theater and cinema would exist simultaneously, carrying on independent and dependant narrative. This was achieved by placing two screens staggered one in front of the other. The larger screen caught the shadows projected by the performers and their props while the smaller screen caught the video projection. |
