Body A(r)mourAn interactive installation that was inspired by two texts: Jorge Luis Borges’s The Circular Ruins and Paul Bowles’s The Circular Valley. The installation’s purpose is to deconstruct the body (disarm), and then allow the reader/occupant’s desire (amour) to recompose it (armar). Body a(r)mour explores the act of possession through reading. (Published in Thresholds 21.) |
